Open trials across 15 cities will shortlist young talent for training, cash prizes, and future domestic/PSL opportunities.
LAHORE: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Jan,30, 2026) The PCB Future stars Talent Hunt program will start on February 11, featuring open trials across 15 cities including Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, and Quetta.
Regional coaches, including Aqib Javed, Misbah-ul-Haq, and Abdul Razzaq, will lead the selection panel. Around 350 talented young players will be shortlisted, with up to 24 players chosen from each region. Selected players will receive four weeks of special training, skill development at PCB regional academies, and opportunities for domestic cricket and PSL selection.
Top performers in batting, fast bowling, and spin bowling will also receive cash prizes, and the best among them may be invited to National Cricket academy camps.
