LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Jan 14th, 2026) The invitation card for the ceremony of the second marriage of Junaid Safdar, the son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has surfaced on the social media.
Junaid Safdar’s marriage has been finalized with Shanza Ali Rohale. As per the invitation card that has gone viral online, the walima ceremony is scheduled to be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Jati Umra.
Sources say that the wedding celebrations will span three days — January 16, 17, and 18, 2026. The mehndi and walima events are expected to take place at Jati Umra.
However, the Sharif family has not yet issued any official confirmation regarding the viral invitation card or the finalized wedding dates.
Shanza Ali Rohale is the granddaughter of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader and Member of the National Assembly Sheikh Roheel Asghar, who has earlier confirmed the proposed marriage.
He stated that Shanza shares a close friendship with Maryam Nawaz’s younger daughter and that following the conclusion of Junaid Safdar’s first marriage, the Sharif family approached them with the proposal, which was accepted after consultations.
It may be mentioned here that Junaid Safdar was previously married to Ayesha Saif in 2021. The marriage ended in separation, with the couple parting ways in October 2023.
