LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Jan 13, 2026) The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore on Tuesday further improved facilities for walking enthusiasts in various city parks.
Directional signboards have been installed across the parks while potholes on the jogging track in Jinnah Bagh have been filled and leveled.
Under the guidance of PHA Lahore Managing Director Raja Mansoor Ahmed, Horticulture Directors have ensured the installation of directional boards on jogging tracks within their respective zones. This initiative aims to encourage walkers to move in a single direction, minimizing crossing from the opposite side.
The PHA Jinnah Bagh Zone team recently completed the repair of a three-kilometer-long jogging track. Director Jaleel Ahmed stated that over time, potholes had developed on the track, which were leveled with soil.
He further added that the staff actively participated in the leveling process, making the track safer and more convenient for people of all ages to walk and run.
