Lahore (Pakistan Point News - 26th Dec, 2025) PML-Q leader Khawaja Rameez Hassan said in a press release that Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain has been actively working for revolutionary reforms and improvement in the institutions under the ministry since assuming the ministry charge. He said that Chaudhry Salik Hussain has made it possible to solve the problems of Overseas Pakistanis and eliminate challenges such as cases faced by them by establishing overseas courts, to which Overseas Pakistanis will not need to come to Pakistan for prosecution.
He said that the credit for transparency in the protectorate system to protect the visas of Pakistanis going abroad for employment also goes to Chaudhry Salik Hussain.
The Federal Minister expressed deep interest in the issues of offloading of people traveling abroad on social and national media and personally visited airports several times to review the immigration process. On the request of the Federal Minister, the Prime Minister formed a committee comprising FIA and other departments under the leadership of Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain to review the issues related to offloading, the credit for the formation of which also goes to the Federal Minister for Overseas.
After the formation of the committee, the issues were discussed, which made it possible to address public grievances to a considerable extent.
He said that the manifesto of the leadership of the PML-Q is purely to provide public service and create facilities. Earlier, during the tenure of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain as Prime Minister, practical steps were taken like to bring the bodies of overseas Pakistanis to Pakistan free of cost, which was unprecedented in the past.
