LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News – Dec 3rd, 2025) Preparations for the Chrysanthemum Exhibition under the auspices of the Parks and Horticulture Agency, Lahore have been completed.
The Oval Ground at Jailani Park has been decorated with 15,000 chrysanthemum plants and an equal number of marigold flowers across 200 varieties. The exhibition will be officially inaugurated on Thursday, December 4, at 7:00 PM, Managing Director Raja Mansoor Ahmed said during his visit to Jailani Park. Senior officials Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha and Ahmed Saeed Manj were also present, while Horticulture Director Waqar Rehman briefed about the preparations.The MD, PHA, Raja Mansoor Ahmed, stated that this year the exhibition promotes a competitive atmosphere. Participants include Bagh-e-Jinnah, Zone 5 Gulberg, Jailani Park, H.E.C. College, GC University, and Millat Tractors. The exhibition features attractions such as Snow Corner, Floral Houses, Qafal Gate, Selfie Points, Corridor, Elite, Peacock, food and beverage stalls, Mughal-style gates, carriages, a floral guard fountain, and other creative designs.He added that food points will also be available to engage visitors. Special preparations featuring two Mughal courtiers add a historic ambiance, while the entire park has become a picturesque location for photography enthusiasts.
In Lahore, the city of gardens, the Chrysanthemum Exhibition 2025 has once again been beautifully arranged at Jailani Park. The park has become a festival of colors, fragrance, and beauty, attracting the attention of citizens. Over 200 varieties of chrysanthemums are in full bloom, alongside 15,000 potted chrysanthemums and the same number of marigold flowers.
Every color and variety, in a total of 30,000 pots, captivates visitors with its unique charm.This year, the exhibition highlights innovation and artistic creativity. The official inauguration on December 4 will be conducted by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, with preparations to make the event vibrant with colors and lights. The exhibition will continue for one week.
PHA, along with institutions including Bagh-e-Jinnah, Zone 5 Gulberg, H.E.C. College, GC University, and industries like Millat Tractors, has participated in the flower preparation and competitions. Additionally, floral art stalls and food stalls from brands like Second Cup will attract visitors.
