Court dismisses request for acquittal filed by Ducky Bhai's co-accused Subhan, and adjourns case until December 17
LAHORE: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Nov 29th, 2025) A major development has taken place in the case concerning the illegal promotion of gambling apps, being heard at the District Court in Lahore.
On the latest hearing, Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wato presided over the case, with YouTuber Saad Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, and his wife Aroob Jatoi appearing before the court.
The court dismissed the request for acquittal filed by Ducky Bhai's co-accused, Subhan, and adjourned the case until December 17. The court also directed all accused, including Ducky Bhai, to appear for the framing of charges during the next hearing.
During the proceedings, Ducky Bhai explained that Subhan had joined him three months before his arrest and was employed at a monthly salary of Rs. 100,000. He asserted that Subhan had no involvement in the illegal activities linked to the case.
In response to questions from the court, Ducky Bhai’s lawyer confirmed that Aroob Jatoi had been granted pre-arrest bail. The court also inquired about any applications submitted in relation to the case.
Ducky Bhai’s lawyer clarified that a custody application had been filed concerning the return of electronic devices and mobile phones seized by the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NCCIA). He requested that four credit cards and cash be returned to the accused.
It may be mentioned here that Ducky Bhai had been granted bail two days ago in connection with this case, which was registered by the NCCIA against him and others for their involvement in promoting illegal gambling apps.
