Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed gratitude for warm reception and praised Bahrain’s longstanding goodwill toward Pakistan
MANAMA: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Nov 26th, 2025) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain on Wednesday, during which both leaders discussed the strong and historic partnership between Pakistan and Bahrain.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif expressed gratitude for the warm reception and praised Bahrain’s longstanding goodwill toward Pakistan. He also commended the Bahraini leadership for promoting peace, tolerance, and mutual coexistence.
In a major gesture, King Hamad presented Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif with the Order of Bahrain (First Class), the highest honor Bahrain bestows upon visiting world leaders.
King Hamad highlighted the historic ties between the two nations, noting that Pakistan’s founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, had served as Bahrain’s legal representative, a fact confirmed by existing historical documents.
