Peshawar High Court extends Suhail Afridi’s bail, bars his arrest and seeks case details again.
PESHAWAR: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Nov,18, 2025) The Peshawar High Court held a key hearing on a petition concerning the protective bail and case details of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi.
The bench, comprising Justice Ijaz Anwar and Justice Waqar Ahmed, was scheduled to hear the petition; however, proceedings were delayed due to a lawyers’ strike.
The court extended the Chief Minister’s protective bail until November 27 and directed all relevant parties to resubmit details of the cases against him. Additionally, the court ordered that the Chief Minister should not be arrested in any of the pending cases until that date.
Suhail Afridi’s lawyer stated that multiple cases have been registered against the Chief Minister across Islamabad and other areas, and requested that the details be provided so he can approach the concerned courts accordingly.
