The Jaffar Express running between Quetta and Peshawar remained suspended for the fifth consecutive day, and officials have announced that services will not resume until at least November 13.
Sources confirmed that the Bolan Mail to Karachi is also completely halted. Passengers have been advised to use alternative transport arrangements.
A senior railway official, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that the suspension is due to operational security reasons and services will resume once the situation improves. The suspension has caused widespread inconvenience, as thousands of people rely on these trains for travel.
At Quetta Railway Station, passengers complained about slow refund processes despite ticket cancellations and a significant increase in fares for alternative transport options.
