PML-N chief to vote in favor of 27th Constitutional Amendment; approval expected today.
ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Nov,12, 2025) Former Prime Minister and PML-N Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif will attend the National Assembly session today, where he is set to vote in favor of the 27th Constitutional Amendment.
The sources said that the 27th Amendment is expected to be approved by the National Assembly today, as debate on the amendment continued from the previous session. The government aims to expedite the establishment of a Federal Constitutional Court once the amendment is passed.
Following the President’s approval of the amendment, practical steps for the formation of the court are likely to begin immediately.
In connection with this development, the Senate’s meeting schedule has also been changed. The session, originally planned for November 13 at 4pm, would now be held on November 12 at 5pm as per an official notification.
