PML-N and PPP resolved differences; the draft of the 27th constitutional amendment has now been finalized.
ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Nov,10, 2025) The deadlock between the government and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) over the 27th constitutional amendment has ended, and the proposed draft has been finalized.
Sources said that during a meeting between PML-N and PPP, all differences were resolved. Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar confirmed that the draft has been finalized after making some necessary changes and has been sent for printing.
The meeting, held in Senator Tarar’s chamber, discussed judges’ transfers, case transfers, and Article 243. Key participants included Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, and PPP representatives Sherry Rehman and Naveed Qamar.
Sources added that two main points of disagreement between PML-N and PPP have been resolved, allowing the amendment draft to be finalized.
