PML-N agrees to address PPP concerns, release development funds, and include its members in key committees.
LAHORE: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Nov,7, 2025) A major breakthrough has been achieved between the Punjab government and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) over power-sharing arrangements.
According to sources, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and PPP have successfully settled their differences, with the provincial leadership of the PML-N addressing the concerns raised by the PPP.
As part of the understanding, the PML-N has reportedly agreed to release development funds for the Constituencies of 30 PPP Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs) and ticket holders.
Additionally, PPP is expected to be given a share in the appointments of law officers within the Punjab government’s Law Department. Sources further reveal that PPP MPAs and ticket holders are also likely to be included in district coordination committees across the province.
This agreement marks a significant step toward strengthening coalition cooperation between the two parties in Punjab.
