Jewellers say the latest decrease reflects global market trend and a strengthening Pakistani rupee
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-Nov 5th, 2025) The Gold prices continued their downward slide in Pakistan on Wednesday, following a decline in the international bullion market.
All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association said that the price of gold in the global market fell by $10 per ounce, and settled at $3,970.
In line with the international trend, domestic gold rates also dropped by Rs1,000 per tola, and brought the new price to Rs419,362 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs857, and reached Rs359,535.
Jewellers said the latest decrease reflects the global market trend and a strengthening Pakistani rupee. They added that investors are currently showing more interest in the Dollar and stocks rather than precious metals.
A day earlier, gold prices had already fallen by Rs3,500 per tola, marking one of the sharpest declines of the week.
Analysts expect gold rates in Pakistan to remain volatile amid fluctuations in international prices and local Currency exchange rates.
