Gujar Khan teacher seen brutally beating student; police, child bureau launch probe.
RAWALPINDI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,30, 2025) A shocking video showing schoolteachers torturing a young boy in Gujar Khan, a tehsil of Rawalpindi, went viral on social media, prompting police action and the arrest of one teacher.
The viral footage from a private school shows a man holding a stick while three to four others suspend the child upside down. The man, identified as the boy’s teacher and relative, is seen repeatedly striking the child on his back, legs, and hips while mocking him as the child screams for mercy.
Even after the child falls to the ground, the teacher continues to beat him, forcing him to promise not to repeat his actions.
Following the video’s circulation, Gujar Khan Police, led by SHO Inspector Tayyab Zaheer, traced the school and took the teacher into custody.
According to police officials, the video is about a year old. The child’s father told police that he had asked teachers to discipline his son, who used to smoke, but after reviewing the disturbing footage, authorities detained the teacher and initiated legal proceedings.
Meanwhile, the Rawalpindi Child Protection Bureau has also contacted Gujar Khan Police to assist in the investigation.
