PESHAWAR: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,30, 2025) Peshawar Police have developed a high-tech drone equipped with modern technology to enhance surveillance and operational capabilities.
According to the Central Police Office, the newly designed drone has a range of 10 kilometers and is equipped with a laser system. The drone, successfully tested at the Nowshera Police Center, can carry up to 10 kilograms of weight.
The police department stated that the drone features night vision surveillance cameras and can be fitted with tear gas shells and mortar rounds. The 55-kilogram drone is two meters long and can fly at a speed of up to 36 kilometers per hour.
Officials added that the drone can remain airborne for nearly an hour and reach an altitude of up to 1,000 meters, marking a major step forward in modernizing police operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
