ATC directs proceedings to declare fugitives wanted for financing terrorists; report due Oct 30.
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,24, 2025) An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi has ordered proceedings to declare absconding suspects proclaimed offenders in the case related to financing terrorists involved in the Karachi airport suicide attack.
The hearing took place at the Anti-Terrorism Complex inside Karachi Central Jail, where accused Saeed was produced, while co-accused Bilal, a private bank manager out on bail, was also present.
The court directed the investigating officer to submit a detailed report by October 30 and initiate legal action against the absconders, identified as banned outfit commander Bashir Baloch alias Bashir Zaib and Abdul Rehman alias Rehman Gul.
According to the prosecution, Saeed deposited Rs 7.1 million for the purchase of the vehicle used in the airport attack. Bank manager Bilal allegedly facilitated the transaction and provided assistance to the suicide bomber Shah Fahad in acquiring the vehicle.
