A 12-month-old child from Kandar, Torghar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been diagnosed with polio.
ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,21, 2025) Another polio case has been reported in Pakistan, health ministry sources confirmed on Monday.
According to officials, the latest victim is a 12-month-old child from the Kandar area of Torghar district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Symptoms of the disease appeared on September 19, 2025.
This is the 19th polio case reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this year, bringing the total number of cases across Pakistan in 2025 to 30, health authorities added.
