The Sindh High Court has declared null and void the notification placing former SBCA DG Manzoor Qadir Kaka’s name on the Passport Control List (PCL), allowing him to travel abroad for three months for medical treatment.
KARACHI: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,09, 2025) The Sindh High Court has annulled the notification placing former SBCA Director General Manzoor Qadir Kaka’s name on the Passport Control List (PCL).
A two-member constitutional bench headed by Justice K.K. Agha issued the verdict on Kaka’s petition seeking removal of his name from the list. The court directed authorities to immediately remove his name from both the PCL and ECL, allowing him to travel abroad for three months for cancer treatment, subject to a surety bond of Rs2 million submitted to the trial court.
The court further ordered that his passport be returned and that no obstruction be created in his travel. The trial court was instructed to ensure that Kaka’s lawyer attends every hearing so that the ongoing corruption case is not delayed.
Copies of the verdict have been sent to the NAB Chairman, Interior Secretary, and NAB DG Karachi for compliance.
