ISLAMABAD : (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Oct,09, 2025) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed that Pakistan will always remain the guardian of the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, underscoring the country’s deep-rooted brotherhood with Saudi Arabia.
Speaking after a luncheon held in honour of a visiting Saudi delegation, the prime minister said that every Muslim is ready to sacrifice their life for the protection of the holy sites, adding that the Pakistan-Saudi defense agreement symbolizes the formal foundation of their brotherly relations.
He said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia must work together to transform their shared business vision into reality, emphasizing cooperation in trade, investment, research, and development to advance mutual prosperity.
On the occasion, Prince Mansour bin Muhammad Al Saud said that the delegation had arrived in Pakistan to participate in the Pakistan-Saudi Joint Business Council meeting, adding that Saudi investors would be provided with all necessary facilities to enhance investment opportunities in Pakistan.
