ISLAMABAD: (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News-July 19th, 2024) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has initiated consultations with coalition partners concerning ongoing Supreme Court cases, sources close to the matter revealed on Friday.
According to the sources, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) planned to engage leaders from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for discussions, which are set to occur this afternoon at the President’s House.
The sources confirmed that President Asif Ali Zardari, along with PPP representatives Farooq H. Naik, Sherry Rehman, and Nayyar Bukhari, would attend the meeting. On behalf of the PML-N, Ishaq Dar, Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Atta Tarar would participate, with Irfan Qadir and Ayaz Sadiq also joining the talks.
Besides it, Attorney General Mansoor Awan is expected to brief President Zardari and other participants on the issue of reserved seats.
