Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that Shah ast Hussain, Badshah ast Hussain” (Hussain is the King, Hussain is the Emperor).
She paid tribute to the grandson of the Prophet, the beloved son of Fatimah, Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), and his devoted followers.
She described the event of Karbala as a significant and historic chapter in Islamic history, where truth endures with Hussain and falsehood dies with disgrace.

Those who live and die for the truth always remain alive in the hearts of people. Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) demonstrated that making the greatest sacrifices for the elevation of truth is the way of the righteous.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions serve as a beacon for those who walk the path of truth and righteousness. Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) created an unparalleled history of courage and bravery on the battlefield of Karbala.
She added by saying that the story of Karbala will continue to inspire oppressed nations with courage and resilience until the end of time.
