Russian Ombudswoman Says Decision to Release Ustinov Until Appeal 'Truly Fair'

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2019) The Moscow court's decision to release Pavel Ustinov convicted over a sprained shoulder of a security officer from detention until appeal hearing was "truly fair," Russian High Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova said Friday.

Earlier in the day, the Moscow City Court ruled to release Ustinov under condition that he would not leave the country until his appeal hearing.

"A truly fair decision was made today," the commissioner said, remarking on the role of the Prosecutor General's office in appealing to the court.
