MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2019) The Kremlin refuses to comment on court rulings in the case of actor Pavel Ustinov, making conclusions about what influenced the change in the measure of restraint is also outside the Kremlin's competence, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday.

"It is not our business to give conclusions as to what influenced the court decision and what did not; probably it should be asked in the court itself. We still refrain from any comments on court decisions," Peskov told reporters when asked whether the Kremlin was following developments around Ustinov's case and whether public outcry could have affected the change in the measure of restraint from custody to recognizance not to leave.

He said the Kremlin saw no need to change anything in the work of the Prosecutors' Office over the change of stance on Ustinov's case.
