MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 19th September, 2019) Gas volumes accumulated by Russian energy giant Gazprom in European underground storage facilities make it possible to make up for possible interruptions in gas supplies from Russia for some time should they occur, Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller said Thursday.When asked whether there is enough gas accumulated by the company in European underground gas storage facilities for consumers for the coming winter, if there is no agreement with Ukraine on transit after 2019, Miller said on the Rossiya 24 television channel: "The volumes of gas that are in European storage facilities... allow for some time to make up for some interruptions - if suddenly, God forbid, they arise, for end consumers."
