MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 11th June, 2019) Russia is still waiting for US reaction to its numerous proposals on strategic stability and arms control, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday.
"Strategic stability and arms control remain the focus of close attention. [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin said at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum what the complete loss of any restrictions in the missile and nuclear sphere could result it. All the Russian initiatives in this sphere remain in force. We have noted that Washington has indicated that it is ready to cooperate. We are waiting for concrete steps," Lavrov said during the Primakov Readings international summit in the Russian capital of Moscow.
