Number Of Injured In Knife Attack In Japan's Kawasaki Rises To 19 - Reports

TOKYO (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th May, 2019) The number of injured in a stabbing attack in the Japanese city of Kawasaki has increased to 19, the Kyodo news agency reported on Tuesday, citing emergency services.

Earlier, media reported that 15 people had been injured, including 3 critically.

According to the agency, an unknown 50-year-old man stabbed 19 people at a bus stop.

The police said there were 16 people injured, including 13 children, the NHK broadcaster reported. Three of those injured � one child and two adults � show no vital signs, the police said.

Police detained a criminal. He stabbed himself and is now in critical condition.
