Islamabad (Pakistan Point News / Online - 23rd May, 2019) Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honordoost has stated that people of the whole world should get insured that all disputes and conflicts can be resolved through negotiation table instead of going through the military battles."We should say it's a collective interest to maintain peace and stability in the Persian Gulf region. It is not only Iran who is at expose of a risk of a military conflict.
It is not about just facing a risk. It is about the importance and validity of diplomatic dialogue in peaceful settlements of intl. disputes.Iranian Ambassador has expressed these views during his visit to Radio Pakistan External Service. To main peace and stability in the Persian Gulf regions is the collective interest, it is not only Iran exposed to risk of a military conflict, said Ambassador.Giving his opinion during the Radio Pakistan Persian Service program "Payvand", he opined that the peoples of the whole world should get insured that all disputes and conflicts can be resolved through negotiation table instead of going through the military battles.
Answering a question, he reiterated that the economy of Iran and Pakistan are complementary for each other, whatever Pakistan produces is useful and needed for Iran, and Iran has a rich reservoir of energy sources which Pakistan needs.Especially the technological and scientific capabilities of Iran are important for Pakistan. Since Iran is among the 10 top countries of the world in some branch of science and technology.He said that Pakistan as an active member of the Islamic community and it can play an important role in the vitalization of diplomatic channels and it can help to activate dialogue for reducing escalation and conflict.
