Says although Qureshi wants to become prime minister but since that’s not possible, he wants to become Punjab chief minister.
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 30th April, 2019) Renowned journalist Najam Sethi has said that Jahangir Tareen has given many services to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Najam Sethi said that Jahangir Tareen has spent a lot on PTI and Imran Khan while he had an important role in making Punjab government and this is why Jahangir Tareen is again seen active in politics.
He said that since there has been reshuffling under PTI government, Imran Khan has again got him active.
On the other hand, he said, Shah Mehmood Qureshi of Jahangir Tareen’s rival group also does not want to remain a foreign minister all his wife. He is also dreaming to become Punjab chief minister.
Although he wants to become prime minister but since that’s not possible, he wants to become the chief minister.
“Punjab makes half of Pakistan. Now if it comes to Shah Mehmood Qureshi getting any position in Punjab, he has already claimed that he was defeated in Punjab on purpose,” Sethi said.
The journalist further said that PTI members only support Imran Khan. They defend him whatever he does.
He further said, “Now that there is grouping within PTI, let’s see what future holds for the party.”
But Jahangir Tareen getting active and meeting various lawmakers means that a change is on the cards, he added.
