MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 08th April, 2019) Somalian Foreign Minister Ahmed Isse Awad will attend the fifth edition of the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum, which will be held in Moscow on April 16, the Somalian Embassy in Russia told Sputnik on Monday."Yes, he will come to the Russian-Arab forum," the embassy said.
The embassy added that Somali was a permanent member of the so-called trio of Arab states that took part in the previous editions of the forum at the level of foreign ministers. The fourth session of the cooperation forum was held in the United Arab Emirates in 2017.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov praised earlier in on Monday the role that the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum played in expansion of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Russia and the Arabic world.
