Khawaja brothers physical remand extended till April 18

Accountability court of Lahore extends 14 days physical remand of Kh Saad and Salman on NAB plea

LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 4th April 2019) An accountability court has extended the physical remand of Khawaja brothers till April 18.

The extension for 14 days remand of PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Rafique was given on the request of NAB. Khawaja brothers are in custody of NAB in connection with the investigation in of Paragon Housing Scheme scandal case.

Khawaja brothers were presented before the court as their judicial remand ended on Thursday.

Khawaja’s counsel, on occasion, complained against the NAB for causing disruption in security management during the case hearings.

Later, talking to journalists, Saad said the government failed to provide any relief to the people. He criticized Finance Minister Asad Umar on the statement regarding country’s bankruptcy. He said Asad issued statement to please the enemies of the country. He said the government was handed over to the incapable people.
