LAHORE- (Pakistan Point News- 4th April 2019) The SNGPL team had caught a massive theft of gas in its raid on Thursday.
The raid was conducted in connection with Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited ongoing campaign against gas theft.
The company spokesman says the campaign was continued on the directions of government to bring down the UFG losses.
According to details, a joint raid was conducted by Sui Northern Gas Sheikhupura Region and FIA team on Yaqub Steel Mills, situated at Lahore Sheikhupura Road and caught a direct bypass. All the material and equipments were confiscated from the place of occurrence. A volume of 243 Million Cubic Feet, amounting to Rs.466 Million was being stolen by the aforementioned Steel Mill.
In this regard, legal action has been initiated against the culprits. Raid was conducted under the supervision of Regional Manager Sheikhupura Riasat Ali, and Dy. Director FIA Muhammad Fayyaz.
