Court has directed authorities to arrest Qaiser and produce him before the court

A sessions court passes the order regarding acquittal of Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi after hearing both sides in two cases related to Haqeeqi Azadi March.

The latest report say that a sessions court in Islamabad also acquitted Imran Khan and other PTI leaders in a case registered with Kohsar police station.

The court rules that imposing punishment on the accused and further trial would be a waste of time; therefore, the acquittal requests of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's founders, Asad Umar, and Raja Khurram Shahzad Nawaz are accepted.

The development has taken place after nomination of Ali Amin Gandapur for the office KP CM office.

The court, in line with the Islamabad High Court's recent ruling, declares the jail trial in the cipher case illegal, deeming proceedings since August 29, including the indictment, to be without lawful authority.

The former federal minister says he spent more than a decade in the public life and now has decided to entire step away from the realm of politics.

The Islamabad High Court has also rejected the plea of the PTI chairman for bail in the cipher case.

The FIA submits the case under the Official Secrets Act to a special court, seeking trial and punishment for those involved.

The same court had earlier granted bail to PTI leader Asad Umar in the same cipher case after the prosecution said that his arrest was not necessary at this stage.
