A ministerial-level meeting of the International Contact Group on Venezuela will be held in the Ecuadorian capital of Quito on Thursday
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th March, 2019) A ministerial-level meeting of the International Contact Group on Venezuela will be held in the Ecuadorian capital of Quito on Thursday.
The meeting will be co-chaired by EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini and Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Jose Valencia.
Representatives of Germany, Bolivia, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Uruguay and Costa Rica are expected to attend the meeting.
The group seeks to establish a common understanding of the situation in Venezuela and work with national and international actors to find a peaceful resolution to the crisis.
