Sindh Minister for Health and Population Welfare Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho has said that there is no shortage of Hepatitis C tablets in the province and these tablets are available at all Hepatitis Control Centers
KARACHI (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 19th March, 2019) Sindh Minister for Health and Population Welfare Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho has said that there is no shortage of Hepatitis C tablets in the province and these tablets are available at all Hepatitis Control Centers.This she said while presiding over a meeting here in her office. Secretary Health Saeed Ahmed Awan, Director General Health Dr. Masood Solangi , Project Director Hepatitis Control Program Dr.
Zulfiqar Dharejo and other officers also attended the meeting.While briefing the meeting PD Hepatitis Control Program Dr. Zulfiqar Dharejo told that presently as many 61 Hepatitis screening, vaccination and diagnosis centers were working , established at Teaching, District, Tehsil hospitals and since launching of Hepatitis Control Program, so far 8.84 millions peoples of sindh had been vaccinated, that is a great achievement.He added, ' Since July 2018 to February 2019, in different parts of the province, 85 screening and vaccination camps were conducted, in which 29201 peoples were vaccinated '.On this occasion provincial Minister for Health and Population Welfare Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho asked the PD Hepatitis Control Program to ensure availability of Hepatitis C control tablets at all centres in order to facilitate Hepatitis patients.
