According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, more than 7 in 10 Pakistanis report visiting a conventional doctor if they happen to be sick, while a quarter report alternatives such as hakeems and homeopathy as their most used method

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News - 12th March, 2019) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, more than 7 in 10 Pakistanis report visiting a conventional doctor if they happen to be sick, while a quarter report alternatives such as hakeems and homeopathy as their most used method. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Who do you usually go to for your treatment?” In response to this question, 71% said doctors, 16% said hakeem, 8% said homeopathy, while 5% did not know or did not wish to respond.
