BEIJING (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th February, 2019) The United States and North Korea need to be patient and continue their dialogue on denuclearization, the Chinese foreign minister said Thursday."We hope that the sides will be patient, continue dialogue, move toward each other and work tirelessly to achieve their goals," Wang Yi said at a meeting with North Korean vice foreign minister Ri Kil Song.
The two-day summit of US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un ended abruptly on Thursday after the North asked for a full sanctions relief.
The Chinese top diplomat said the US-North Korean talks had reached the point where differences were unavoidable. He said Beijing would continue playing a constructive role in the Korean denuclearization process.
