MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th February, 2019) Over 800 Syrian refugees returned home from Jordan and Lebanon over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for the Reception, Allocation and Accommodation of Refugees said on Monday.

"Over the past day, a total of 838 refugees returned to Syria.., including 104 people (32 women and 53 children) from Lebanon via Jaydet-Yabus and Talkalakh checkpoints, and 734 people (220 women and 374 children) from Jordan via Nasib checkpoint," the center said in a daily bulletin.

Additionally, 86 internally displaced Syrians returned to their place of permanent residence in the country over the same period.

As the Syrian government has regained control over most of the country's territories that were seized by terrorists, it is now focused on creating favorable conditions for repatriating refugees.
