NEW DELHI (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 19th February, 2019) An Indian district magistrate ordered Pakistani nationals present in Bikaner to leave within 48 hours, Indian media reported on Tuesday.Bikaner is a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The court issued orders on Monday under Section 144 Criminal Procedure Code following the Pulwama terrorist attack, the Times of India reported.The judge also ordered hotels to not rent out rooms to Pakistanis.

The order is applicable for two months.The order says the SIM cards registered in Pakistan are prohibited in the district, however, the order doesn't apply to the Pakistanis who have registered with foreigner registration officer.On February 14, over 40 Indian soldiers were killed when a suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a convoy of Indian forces in Kashmir. Jaish-e-Muhammad claimed the responsibility for the attack.Indian media and government officials were quick to assign blame to Pakistan for what they said was supporting the Maulana Masood Azhar-led group, the JeM.

Pakistan refuted allegations that its government was linked to the Pulwama attack.Pakistan requested UN Secretary-General Antanio Guterres to take notice of what it said were the irresponsible tactics by the Indian government which were aggravating geopolitical relations. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi wrote a letter to him, raising concerns over the negative tactics of the Narendra Modi government ahead of the elections in India. NNI
