Kiev Deprives About 10Mln Ukrainians of Right to Vote in President Election -Russian Envoy

About 10 million Ukrainians will be unable to vote due to Kiev's recent policies in relation to upcoming presidential election in Ukraine, Russian Permanent Representative to OSCE Alexander Lukashevich told Sputnik in an interview

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 08th February, 2019) About 10 million Ukrainians will be unable to vote due to Kiev's recent policies in relation to upcoming presidential election in Ukraine, Russian Permanent Representative to OSCE Alexander Lukashevich told Sputnik in an interview.

Ukraine has decided not to open polling stations on the territory of Russia. Additionally, the vote can not be held in breakaway Donbas republics.

"If we estimate the total damage inflicted by the Ukrainian side, we are talking about 7-10 million Ukrainians unable to vote. This begs the question of the legitimacy of the electoral process. A huge part of the Ukrainian population does not have the opportunity to vote due to policies conducted by the Ukrainian authorities," the envoy said.
