Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News - 15th January, 2019) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, almost 6 in 10 (56%) Pakistanis support the opening of the Kartarpur Crossing. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Recently, Pakistan and India have opened the Kartarpur Crossing, due to which followers of the Sikh religion can enter into Sikh holy sites in Pakistan from India. Some people support this step on the part of the PTI, while others are against it. What is your opinion?” In response to this question, 56% of respondents said that they supported it, 35% said that they opposed it, while 9% did not know or did not wish to respond.
