MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 15th January, 2019) A "great national debate," a public consultation aiming to pacify French yellow vest protesters after nearly two months of demonstrations, will begin on Tuesday.
French President Emmanuel Macron said in a letter "to the French" that the debates would focus on issues such as taxation, the environment, democracy, and immigration.
The debates will run until March 15.
