Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 10th January, 2019) A resolution has been submitted in the Punjab Assembly demanding jobs for two unemployed members of a family.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Nazir Ahmad Chohan has submitted the resolution in Punjab Assembly.
The draft of the resolution demanded that the companies involved in building the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme should be bound to give two jobs to every unemployed family for a period of five years.
In this way, the PTI government’s promise to provide one crore jobs will also be fulfilled.
Ministry of Housing and Works along with Housing Task Force has expedited the work to prepare draft for the establishment of New Pakistan Housing Authority (NPHA) which would be presented for cabinet approval during the ongoing month.
A draft for the establishment of Real Estate Regulatory Authority would also be prepared within a week and to be presented in the ongoing month.
At least 25 companies have so far expressed their interest in the construction housing units at one site. Sixteen companies are also such which have expressed their interest for constructing housing units and providing land at different sites.
