Portuguese government allows citizens to visit Pakistan in travel advisory report

Pakistan has achieved a big success in strengthening relations with Portugal with the promotion of trade, tourism and labour market.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 13th December, 2018) Portugal has acknowledged a safe and emerging Pakistan as it has allowed its citizens to visit Pakistan.

A new advisory has been issued for the Portugese citizens, allowing them to travel to Pakistan.

In the report issued by the Portugese government, Portugal acknowledged that the security situation in Pakistan has significantly improved in view of the joint efforts of Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies.

Pakistan has achieved a big success in strengthening relations with Portugal with the promotion of trade, tourism and labour market.

The travel advisory report allows Portuguese citizens to access Pakistan’s business market and visit various tourist locations, including Gilgit Baltistan, Hunza, Skardu and other areas.

On the other hand, the Pakistani embassy has established a counter for Portuguese tourists and businessmen upon the directions of Pakistani government. The Pakistani Diaspora based in Portugal has termed it an achievement of the Pakistani government, stressing that it will improve the image of Pakistanis residing in Portugal.

Moreover, a stall of Pakistani embassy was also set up in the annual Diplomatic Market in the Lisbon Congress Hall where Portuguese President appreciated hand crafted Pakistani items.

Due to terrorist incidents in the country, the tourists had stopped coming to Pakistan, but with the efforts and sacrifices of security agencies, Pakistan has once again become a safe country, which has been acknowledged by other countries as well.
