US President Donald Trump said he will make an announcement on Saturday concerning the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th December, 2018) US President Donald Trump said he will make an announcement on Saturday concerning the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS)."I have another [announcement] for tomorrow ... I can give you a little hint: it will have to do with the joint chiefs of staff and succession," Trump told reporters on Friday.
The JSC is a group of senior military leaders who advise the US president and defense secretary and other senior officials on military matters. Its chairman is the highest ranking military officer in the US Armed Forces.
General Joseph Dunford has led the JCS since 2015. His current term expires on October 1, 2019.
