House Catches Fire In Russia's Perm Region, 6 People Die - Emergency Ministry

CHUSOVOY (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th November, 2018) A fire in a dwelling house has claimed the lives of six people, including one minor, in the central-western Russian Perm Region, the press service of the local department of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry told Sputnik on Tuesday.

According to the Emergency Situations Ministry, it was informed at 02:55 local time on Tuesday (21:55 Monday GMT) that a house, located in Perm Region's Chusovoy city, had caught fire. When the rescue team arrived at the location, it saw that buildings located in the backyard of the house had caught fire, as well as the house itself. The fire was extinguished completely within an hour.

"According to the preliminary information, six people died, including a child who was one year and a half old," the press service said.

The cause and the area of the fire are currently being established. Investigators are working at the location.
