GENEVA (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 14th November, 2018) The UN monitoring mission on human rights in Ukraine is aware of the situation with children's camps run by far-right groups and will investigate this information, UN Human Rights Office Spokesperson Ravina Shamdasani told Sputnik on Wednesday.

"The United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine [HRMMU] is aware of the situation and will undertake efforts to corroborate according to its methodology - interviews with victims and witnesses of human rights violations," Shamdasani said.

The Euronews television reported on Tuesday that children aged 8 to 16 years are taught to shoot with Kalashnikov assault rifles at a summer camp in the Ternopil region of Ukraine. The video footage shows a "trainer" from the Svoboda ultra-nationalist group who tells the children that it is "ok" to shoot at residents of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics in eastern Ukraine.
