PARIS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 11th November, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump have greeted each other shaking hands at the ceremony of end of World War I centenary commemorations currently underway on Champs Elysees in Paris, a Sputnik correspondent reported.
Putin and Trump nodded at each other, and Putin tapped Trump on the shoulder showing him a thumbs up.
Trump and Putin both arrived late at the ceremony making all the other leaders wait.
Both presidents arrived in their own corteges, while all the other heads of state and governments have taken the buses from the French presidential palace.
Putin and Trump are expected to talk briefly during a working lunch later in the day.
