President Donald Trump said on Friday that he has not spoken to former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie about becoming US Attorney General.
WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 09th November, 2018) President Donald Trump said on Friday that he has not spoken to former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie about becoming US Attorney General."I did not see Chris Christie yesterday, I heard he was in the White House... I like Chris Christie but I have not talked to him about it," Trump told reporters.
Trump is looking for a new US Attorney General after Jeff Sessions resigned on Wednesday at the president's request.
Sessions' chief of staff Matthew Whitaker is currently serving as the Acting US Attorney General.
