Democrats Topple Two Republican Incumbents In Pennsylvania House Elections - Projections

WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th November, 2018) Two Democratic Party challengers have toppled Republican incumbents in the House of Representatives in races in the US state of Pennsylvania, US television news networks projected.

Democrats Conor Lamb and Mary Gay Scanlon were both projected to run their election contests in the Keystone State, CNN and CBS projected.

Lamb, a former US Marine and Federal prosecutor, was leading incumbent Republican Keith Rothfus by a wide margin of 59.4 percent to 40.6 percent with just over two-thirds (67 percent) of the votes counted.

Scanlon, a veteran civil rights lawyer with three children was sweeping to victory with 61.1 percent of the vote compared to 38.9 percent for Republican Pearl Kim with 48 percent of the votes counted.
