Powerful 5.1-Magnitude Earthquake Hits North-West Of China - Seismological Center

BEIJING (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 04th November, 2018) A magnitude-5.1 earthquake was registered in the north-western Chinese Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, the China Earthquake Networks Center said on Sunday.

The tremors were registered at 5:36 a.m. local time on Sunday (21:36 Saturday GMT) in the Kizilsu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture's capital city of Artux.

There have been no reports of casualties or damage caused by the earthquake so far.
